July 2009 - Minister Jim Prentice canoeing in Nahanni National Park Reserve of Canada following its massive expansion earlier this summer. Along with making the conservation announcement of a generation and exploring first-hand the beauty and awe of the Nahanni, the Minister celebrated the national park’s expansion with the communities of Fort Simpson and Nahanni Butte.
